This four (4) hour end-user level certification program focuses on the deployment, handling, and documentation of the use of OC (oleoresin capsicum) chemical aerosols.
This course will train the police officer or private security officer in the use of aerosols tactics and will help protect both the officer as well as their agency from costly litigation issues that could arise from the use of OC aerosol projectors.
This program addresses proper deployment techniques, situational requirements, and situational appropriateness of various projectors, defensive and retention contamination drills, decontamination, proper use-of-force reporting, and operational guidelines.
Course Completion Students will receive a certificate of completion and certification which is valid for a period of time until departmental policy requires a re-certification.
PREREQUISITES: This class is restricted to sworn public law enforcement officers and licensed private security officers only.
Equipment Requirements
* COMPLETE Duty Equipment – including handcuffs, key, baton, and scabbard. NO live firearms.
* Change of clothes and a towel. Students who wear contact lenses are STRONGLY urged to bring either a fresh pair of contact lenses OR a lens case, saline solution, and back-up eyeglasses.
Contamination Requirements
All students must complete the contamination and retention drills EXCEPT for the following:
* Recertification of students who can document previous contamination by an appropriately-certified instructor;
* Any student who has undergone a LASIK procedure within the previous six (6) months. (A doctor’s note is required.)
For any student who suffers from asthma or who uses an inhaler, a doctor’s note is required.
OC Aerosol Projector (OCAP) Certification – $150

This program addresses proper deployment techniques, situational requirements, and situational appropriateness of various projectors, defensive and retention contamination drills, decontamination, proper use-of-force reporting, and operational guidelines.
Upon Course Completion Students will receive a certificate of completion and certification which is valid for a period of time until departmental policy requires a re-certification.

The 4-hour annual armed "G" recertification training will certainly refresh armed security officers and armed private detectives with the skills needed to re-qualify for the Class “G” Statewide Firearm License. $150

The Security "D" Course is the required Security Guard Training for the Florida Class D License & will teach security guards the basic principles of protection including; access control, patrol, terrorism awareness, emergency procedures & more.

This course is designed for those who have had no "real" firearms training. Taking advantage of the Practice "G" course will give you a better opportunity to enhance your skills and abilities to pass the official "G" course qualifications. Range materials and firearms are included if the student doesn't have their equipment. Students are required to purchase 150 rounds of practice ammunition, which is required for this course. Please dress in proper range attire and have eye and ear protection.

This class is a legal minimum to get your Concealed Carry Weapon Permit and Firearm Safety Knowledge. The class is 5 hours long or as long as it takes for the student to comprehend. Instruction touches on the basics of firearm knowledge and laws - which meet the legal requirements. Student(s) will shoot 100 rounds with a High Caliber Instructor. We provide gun, eye, and ear protection. Student(s) purchase the ammunition. The class size is 4 students per class.

Description: If you've never touched a gun before or are unfamiliar with guns, this is a great class for you. This course, created by the National Rifle Association, goes over the A to Z fundamentals of owning, storing, maintaining, cleaning, and firing a pistol - and goes over the different types of pistols and factors in selection. This class is between 6 to 8 hours and has a 100-round course of fire at the range. Upon completion, you get a certificate from the NRA. Gun rental is available for use. Instructors MUST inspect your personal weapon for safety purposes. $400

This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary for the safe use of a rifle in target shooting. Course topics include; gun safety rules and how to apply them, proper operation of several different types of rifles (i.e. MSR, lever action, bolt action, pump action, and more), ammunition knowledge and selection, maintenance and proper storage. and marksmanship. Course includes classroom, hands-on instruction and range time.

If you’re curious about firearms, whether for personal defense or to learn a new sport, Women On Target® is the perfect place to start. These instructional shooting clinics are designed to teach you firearm safety and the fundamentals of marksmanship, giving you the confidence you need to safely handle and operate a firearm upon completion. Women On Target® clinics are available only to women — it’s a safe and friendly environment whether you’re picking up a gun for the very first time or are just brushing off some dust and need a little refresher. You’ll immediately feel at ease in the half- or full-day clinics, and will be provided with a hands-on, one-of-a-kind experience.

He is a strong proponent of our right to self-protection and is a constant student of multiple weapons platforms, disciplines, and ideologies.
Spellman has had the privilege of training with subject matter experts, including Special Weapons and Tactics Officers, Gang Intelligence, Law Enforcement, and Contractors.
