RANGE RULES

All Federal, State, and Local firearm laws must be obeyed. Always follow all firearm safety rules:

  • Always treat firearms like they are loaded. ALWAYS.

  • Always keep the muzzle pointed downrange.

  • Always keep your finger off the trigger and outside the trigger guard until you are ready to shoot.

  • All shooters must be aware of their target and what is behind it.

  • Do not attempt to catch a falling firearm.

  • Commands issued by HIGH CALIBER staff must be obeyed immediately and without question.

  • Children must be at least 12 years of age to be allowed into an HIGH CALIBER training event. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by their parent or guardian and supervised at all times.

  • Eye protection and ear protection are mandatory at all times on the range.

  • Report any unsafe activity or conditions to the HIGH CALIBER staff immediately.

  • Food, gum, smoking and tobacco are prohibited while attending an HIGH CALIBER training event.

  • When the command "Cease Fire" is given, stop shooting IMMEDIATELY and wait for further instructions from the HIGH CALIBER staff.

  • Always wash your hands immediately after shooting and/or gun cleaning.

  • Pregnant or nursing mothers are not allowed to attend HIGH CALIBER training events.

  • Participants must be able to sit or stand for at least 30 minutes. Participants must also be able to stand while holding a firearm with weights up to 7 lbs for up to 20 minutes.
